Scientists at NUI Galway are investigating gardeners’ exposure to some of Ireland’s most widely used pesticides, because of concerns about adverse health effects.
The scientists are recruiting professional gardeners to a study investigating their exposure to chemicals in Rose Clear and Bug Clear — pesticide products also widely used by amateur gardeners and sold in most Irish garden centres and hardware shops.
