the moon is bright on both sides if you ...read only a part of scientific literature

With some interest and a lot of surprise I read this paper

The differential effects of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid on cardiovascular risk factors: an updated systematic review of randomized controlled trials

The authors have selectively discussed the positive effects of omega-3 acids on biomarkers related with Cardiovascular risk(CR) and the development of Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) but they ignored the studies that had showed negative impact on CVD.

They have avoided the CV and CVD topic and they focused only to other biomarkers that the studies they present had a positive impact.

However, their paper is the bright side of the moon (i.e. omega-3 fatty acids and heart health).

BUT, what about the dark side of the moon as described here ?
