the "cardiovascular end" of PUFAs and all marine oils containing n-3 PUFAs (aka omega-3s)

 In an Final Year Project (FYP) of the Academic Year 2022-23, I had the luck and honour to work with 3 amazing final year students, now UL graduates in Food Science and Health

Cliodhna, Anna and Ellen 

on a project focusing on the cardioprotective properties of omega-3 PUFAs and polar lipids (PL).

In our work, we have been focusing on PL for a number of years as PL are more labile in human organism and they can reach the bloodstream within 3-4 hours (data in house).

This paper is the fruit of this FYP:

Cardiovascular Diseases and Marine Oils: A Focus on Omega-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids and Polar Lipids

We present all the relevant literature to prove that omega-3 PUFAs don't lower the cardiovascular risk; therefore bying omega-3 pills at your chemist is a waste of money!
