The Irish Times view on agricultural emissions: farmers must play their part

and our view: the current situation we need to accept is that the impact of climate change on our lives is more severe than micro-management political games between different ministries. All sectors contributing to GHGs (Green House Gases) emissions must raise their game and meet the challenges ahead. It is not easy! It needs political engagement and honest scientific dialogue; two features that we are failing again and again. But, if we want to be able to say to our children that we did all we could in order to slow down the climate change, we need to act in a coordinated way and we need to act now! Tomorrow is too late...
